This week is a crazy busy week for me - an essay deadline, lots of writing for my own story and writing enough blogs/making enough videos so I can take next week off. Why not throw a readathon in there too? I've wanted to join the LGBTReadathon for a while now and decided that there's no day like today.
However, I'm also not crazy, so my reading goal is low. Super low.
1. The Art of Being Normal - Lisa Williamson
I've heard only amazing things about this book and I can't wait to finally read it. Lisa Williamson seems like a lovely person and I'm sure her book will live up to all the great reviews!
2. Winger - Andrew Smith
Another book that everyone seems to have read except me. Again, the amazing reviews precede this book and I can't wait to see the story behind this amazing cover!
If you're joining, then what are you reading? Show me your books!
Day 1:
So worst reading day ever. I read 15 pages on Winger. That was it. I'm planning on making day 2 way better and to get a big chunk of Winger read!
Total read: 15 pages
Books finished: 0/2
Day 2:
Winger. What the hell Winger?! Yesterday, I had a great reading day. I finished the whopping 439 pages that is Winger. And I'm emotionally ruined. So glad I don't have to write this review until Sunday!
Total read: 439 pages.
Books finished: 1/2
Day 3:
Looks like the trend of this readathon is one bad reading day and one awesome day again (hopefully). Today I read 15 pages of The Art of Being Normal. And I started another book. Whoops.
Total read: 454
Books finished: 1/2
